White House would bar illegal immigrants from buying health coverage from private companies

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The White House strengthened its stand against health care coverage for illegal immigrants Friday, and a pivotal Senate committee looked ready to follow its lead.

We still have a federal law that says we are required to "stabilize". No need for health care. We still need to cover our butts when it comes to human rights.

I dont agree with a universal health care plan anyways.

Can't quote because it's an AP article but I'm totally NOT surprised to learn that illegals would have been allowed in a public plan if they used their own money.

Wonder what Pelosi's comments on this would be. She was adamant that no plan would pass that didn't have a public option.

And that "public option" piece must have been buried in committees because I did read over what was posted on OpenCongress and that had no public option.

The truth uncovered.

It doesn't really matter now does it, as it is right now. They get free healthcare as it is now, and I don't even get that.

They will continue to flood emergency rooms, as they always have, and our government/our tax dollars, already pay for their free healthcare.

That needs to end. You show up to the Emergency room, and your here illegally, you get treated as ICE is called and is there when they are released, to them.
If that were to happen, do you think the emergency rooms would be as flooded as they are now, with illegals.

Stabilizing an illegal then deporting that person is fair.............as for longterm car-----------he/she would still need to leave the USA.

Although in all fairness; if that person's country ponies up the $$$ for medical treatment...........we would be discussing a different scenario

Agree.. The sad truth is that until we close the loophole that allows Illegal Aliens to receive "free" Emergency Room care, the premiums for EVERYONE under a "Public Option" will continue to increase..

They should have a special room with locks on it when someone with no ID or social security number shows up. Fix em up and ship em back to they're own country.

dont even need to tell anyone...

It's a ploy. Democrats have no given one little care about our country being overrun by illegals all this time and now all of a sudden? Puh-leaz.

Okay, yeah, we'll ban them from getting private insurance as ILLEGAL ALIENS, but we will make them citizens instead. Because afterall "we're all citizens of mother earth", aren't we?
