Our employees in D.C. (the politicians) are screwing us over and we sit here and beg for help
SERIOUSLY: think about who's money the politicians are spending
Why are we treated like crap by them for the use of our money?
We are their POWER - why are we sitting here letting them kill our right to the money we earn?
This isn't a Democrat and Republican issue ...
There is a solution beyond this if we join together but until everyone see's that they are both the flame on the same candle - you will NEVER be able to understand that their divide and conquer has us at the throats OTHERS like us.
This is THEM vs US ... we as citizens need to stop them - they are doing this to take away the rights we have left.
If you think that legislating freedom is good - try Red China
I'm not sure I understand any post on this page of an exchange between DigitalDuck, Chango, and briefstop. I take it that the Citizens Arrest procedures are to be exercised against anybody suspected of being illegally present in the US. That would be quite a project. Are you going to start in New York and work your way west to California?
Your focus seems to be on people entering the US who present some perceived threat to your employment opportunities. What about making a Citizen's Arrest of the corporate entity that LEAVES the US to set up operations where labor is cheaper and standards are lower?
I'm puzzled by the trouble I'm having in getting the point across that, if laws and stiff penalties were enforced against the EMPLOYERS of undocumented workers, you would all be pleased to see a decline in the number of such workers. Why are the undocumented workers present? Elementary, my dear Watson. Somebody is paying them to be present.
Of course, even if your dream of an America free of undocumented Mexicans were realized, your economy is in such bad shape that the only advantage you'll have in your Mexican-free environment is the absence of spoken Spanish.
It's mind boggling to me that so many of you seriously believe that the collapse of AIG and the failure of so many of your financial institutions was caused by Mexicans cleaning toilets in Los Angeles. I try to be patient and understand your objections to the presence of undocumented Mexicans in your country, but let's get serious. If you arrest and deport every Mexican in the US tomorrow, you will still be faced with an economy on the edge of collapse, a health-care system that is too costly for most of your citizens to bear, and the continuing exodus of your businesses who are setting up operations where labor is cheap and standards are low.
Faced with this catastrophic reality, you want to dedicate your time to arresting people on suspicion of being Mexican? I doubt if you could distinguish a citizen of Mexico from a citizen of El Salvador, much less could you distinguish the legal resident from the illegal resident. Ever heard of False Arrest? Even well-trained cops are hesitant to run around making random arrests.
You are absolutely right about judging your government and your American (multinational) corporate powers as "globalist." Of course they're globalist. It's convenient for them, and provides them with a whole world of cheap labor. By moving a major industry to another country, it makes the US government look benevolent in providing opportunities for developing countries while saving the corporate powers from paying a decent wage or maintaining safe and decent operating procedures. Everybody wins but the US citizen who busies himself with Mexican-bashing while his job is being sent to China, India, Pakistan, Nicaragua.
Well, if running around venting your anger at Mexicans makes you feel better, knock yourself out. But it won't bring your jobs back from China. And take care as you make your random arrests. Your suspect may have strengths, skills, and artillery that could seriously curtail your enthusiasm about performing your civic duty.
All the best. And good luck.
You're going to need it.
It doesn't matter if they are a negative or a positive anyway. The point is that they are here illegally and need to be deported according to our laws. That is all that matters. All the rest is irrelevant.

If discussing Mexican nationals who are here illegally; I definitely want them gone along with illegal alien Germans, Irish, Chinese, Hungarians, Nigerians, etc.
The rest of your arguments I mostly agree with though.

If there were only a few people willing to do so - it would be a big project.
However; in EVERY community in the USA there are at lease a few people who would be willing to do so!

No - it's not against the workers - it is against those who disrespect the laws our country have in place.
How would it be if someone walked into YOUR home without you saying yes?
Besides that ... my family was denied access to this country (I am very first one born in the USA from my fathers side of the family and I am NOT an anchor baby!) They were told NO MORE PEOPLE FROM ITALY - so they went to Brazil - became Brazilian so they could get legal permission to come to the USA.

TRUE - corporations are one side of it
AND - people willing to break the law are on the other side
ILLEGAL is illegal no matter who is breaking the law.

It's not that simple ... What about when an illegal gets sick with no health coverage?
What is done? (no matter who) they go to an emergency room of a hospital and do NOT pay for their bill.
Do you think that employee's donate their time spent on people who do not pay?
Every hour has to make a set amount of money to keep the business open.
Every time a bill is not paid it takes away from the profitability of specific amount of time.
Do you think that illegals who have anchor babies in American Hospitals are paying for that?

For the most part you are correct!
Unfortunately - most people are failing to see the part where I am suggesting that there is ANOTHER solution ...

I know and because of this -many illegals do not care about our laws!

So - our corporations should leave Mexico also?

Dude - it's not about Mexican people or any Hispanic's ... it's about the law
If the police fail to catch a criminal - does that mean the criminal should get away with it? ... it is STILL a crime!

Problem is our leaders have a hidden agenda NOT to enforse laws they dont want to enforse. The people need to form their own law enforsement agencies that will enforse these laws...Its our right.
that is what happens when FOLLOWERS are the source of a payroll ...
they allow the employee to get out of hand - it is time to put our foot down and tell them to get it right!
Politicians work for us - NOT lobbyists!
