We will start a new name for the anti illegal crowd. Count me in. NO amnesty for criminals who waltz in, and expect a free ride !

I am a Coffee Cupper ! (sound of flutes and drums, percolators going full steam)

I know you can understand this one...it's really easy to understand why corporate interests want to be a part of this. Villainization equates to cheap labor.
I have no issue villainizing illegal aliens and their enablers AKA criminals.

Do you even read the entire posts? Or do you skim to make an inane talking point, that reflects a superficial understanding concerning the situation around you?

No, I DID read your post, as well as comprehend it. You consider some to be corporate props, and that may be a valid assessment. Sadly, unwittingly, you and your cohorts are corporate pawns. We are well aware of the latest “Us vs. Them” strategy, so please spare us.

Let’s see. . . the race card hasn’t worked, the euphemisms are a joke, the “they only do the jobs Americans won’t do” has be debunked, etc., etc. Keep trying. Who knows, maybe one will eventually stick.

Oh, I am also aware of the ‘other’ new strategy. You know. . . the one that gradually replaces “comprehensive” with “phased” immigration reform. Who could argue with first securing our borders, then requiring a fine, etc. . . .

What will you guys think of next?

Well, seeing how amnesty and easier methods of legalization means actually more accountability (better workplace standards). So not really corporate pawns...

Also if you truly were aware of it, you probably would not want teabaggers to be affiliated with your cause. They are highly polarizing and alienating. They take an "us" vs. "them" to an extreme.

Not been debunked...and race card? What are you talking about? Seeing how you are now pulling things out of a hat...

Well, immigration reform is needed. The system is broken. It doesn't address the needs of both immigrants and Americans.

What will you guys think of next?

Well, it won't be militarization of borders or not allowing people to attend schools...

Oh, haven’t you heard? We are the Coffee Cuppers (see post #21).

I’m sure the organizers are aware of the negative connotation of “Tea Baggers.” Not to worry. There is much more support than you realize. Don’t believe it isn’t an issue simply because the pro-illegal media refuses to report it. Citizens are pissed, to put it mildly.

Do the teabaggers plan on protesting against the employers that hire the illegals?

I'm tired of hearing pandering politicans and opportunistic employers talk about the need to reward those that broke the law..
Logical solution: the anchor baby law needs to be done away with. All it's doing is providing incentive to illegally cross the border and have children they can't begin to support, which is a big enough problem in this country as it is.

Coffee Cuppers are non violent. We don't charge for the hot coffee. Little old ladies in rainbow wigs and tennis shoes are able to speak out, and not shouted down when they say things like "I want my country to support people who are here, legally."

Yes, why not a boycott of employers or products that rely on illegal immigrant labor. Economic boycotts can be quite effective at influencing policy if applied right. It worked for Cesar Chavez..
