One of the great ironies of this year's health insurance reform debate is that it could well leave immigrants worse off than they are under current law. Barring illegal immigrants from participating in the proposed health insurance exchanges, as the Senate bill would do, could render nearly 5 million persons who currently possess health insurance unable to obtain coverage. And overly burdensome verification regimes could render many legal immigrants who have unlawfully present family members in danger of losing coverage for their family members

OH BOOHOOO they won't be able to leech off the US tax payers as the above shows they already are. You want coverage return home, our insurance programs are not for Ilegals.

Unfortunately, they will continue to bankrupt hospitals as long as the law requires them to be treated. The law must be changed to only bona fide emergencies, with the requirement for them to be deported once stabilized. If we don’t rid our country of these parasites, we are doomed.

Furthermore, without a verification component, they will be included in this. When have any of our laws prevented them from using fraud to obtain benefits? Is it also unlawful for them to work in this country, but that hasn’t stopped them. They aren’t “supposed” to receive welfare, but they do. They know all of the loopholes, and they are adept at exploiting them.

I read today where a huge, huge chunk of the first time homebuyers fund went to illegals buying homes. I thought this administration was going to keep an eye on the fraud, LOL.

Sadly, our government is so utterly inept illegals have received every stimulus benefit; not to mention, the IRS paying millions in erroneous refunds. It’s pathetic.

Obama is in bed with the crooks just like his predecessors.

They even have a procedure to alter fingerprints. Miscreants are always one step ahead of the law.

I'm sure they are,but like all administrations before (and I suppose those to come, doing something about fraud is an entirely different story. This is like the mouse guarding the cheese.
It was recently leaked that the House ethics committee is conducting an investigation involving over 20 politicians. And whatever happened to Charles Rangel anyway ?

"Ethics and politicians don't mix"
