Yet another slap on the wrist. Iím sure they pay more than this fine in bonuses to each of their execs. How many illegals do you think will be working for them prior to the end of the 2-year grace period?

A South Carolina poultry plant raided by immigration agents last year has agreed to change its hiring practices under supervision to avoid federal charges of knowingly employing illegal immigrants, federal prosecutors said Tuesday.

Under the agreement filed in federal court in South Carolina, Columbia Farms, Inc., will also pay the government $1.5 million to settle pending claims of immigration violations against the company. Two accused management employees will be allowed to enter a supervised program aimed at clearing them of charges.

Under the agreement, Columbia Farms has two years to get in line with federal hiring practices.
