The cost to deport immigrants from Canada can reach up to $500,000 according to an immigration lawyer. I keep reading that it would cost a lot to deport everyone here in the US but I have never actually seen a number. Even in this article, the CBSA was not available to comment. I wonder if the government wants to keep this information away from the public. If they do, I would understand. If they showed the true numbers and total cost to deport, illegal immigration into this country would be way worse, imo.

An immigraton lawyer? Yeah, right like we should believe them. Anyone with half a brain could see the falicy of that inflated number. Doesn't matter anyway with any infraction of our laws comes a price to pay. Should we stop imprisoning murderers and other law breakers because it costs money to do so? With illegal immigration the costs of deporting them are much less than allowing them to stay and that doesn't even take into account the long term effects of doubling or tripling our population in this manner down the road.
