Under Leader Reid’s amendment, in the year 2019 about 16 million U.S. citizens would be uninsured and be forced to pay a penalty tax of almost $800 per year. About eight million illegal aliens would be uninsured and would owe no penalty tax.

Reid bill: 16M uninsured U.S. citizens pay a penalty tax. 8M uninsured illegal aliens do not.**|**KeithHennessey.com

Even more disconcerting is the fact that they are making provisions for illegal aliens in the year 2019. We are being told that THIS amnesty, will essentially eliminate illegal immigration – we will be bringing all illegals out of the shadows, and they will become contributing members of society. Remember, our borders will be secured, and our laws will be enforced, after the passage of CIR. Sound familiar? I wonder if they have also estimated how many illegals we will have then – 10, 30, 60 million?

Sounds about right. After all doesn't the USA owe the entire world a free ride?

Familiar as in 1986 "the final amnesty"? They have never intended to seal/secure our borders. Unless we get rid of the majority of those in office, we will continue on our way to becoming nothing more than an addition to the list of 3rd world countries. After all China already owns us.

Its called the power of the vote. Unfortunatly most Americans are either too stupid or too lazy to use it. They prefer to re-elect the same corrupt scumbag that has been in office for 20+ years rather than try a new approach. Worse still they will believe what ever lies the politician tells to explain why they did not follow through on campaign promises.
Term limits should be mandatory if for no other reason than to protect this nation from lazy voters.

Sadly, your assessment is 100% correct. While it is the misfortune of many, the perpetually skyrocketing unemployment and foreclosure rates have forced many to pay attention to the foreign invasion and the multitude of other problems taking place in this country.

It's Thanksgiving week, time to pass anything while people are busy stuffing their faces with turkey. Last year it was the 20b Citibank bailout.

This part in bold is good though, I hope they keep their word:

"The bill would extend coverage to roughly 31 million who lack it, crack down on insurance company practices that deny or dilute benefits and curtail the growth of spending on medical care nationally"

Massachusetts enacted the so called Universal Health Care Bill in 2006. The Medicaid budget increased over 2 bilion the last two years. The illegals still pack our local emergency rooms They are the undocumented. They cannot be questioned about their origin. They are who they say they are. We are the documented. Our names and the names of our family members are a matter of record. We cannot, while working at a real job, use another name to sign up for welfare, food stamps, housing subsidies and the whole thing including travel vouchers to hospitals and clinics. Why should they sign up for low cost health insurance....the get everything anyway.
About a month ago 51 liberal Mass legislators filed the Single Payer Health Insurance Bill. The Universal Health Care Bill was just step one. The Mass Congressional delegation is the most liberal in the nation. Some of us are trying hard to change that. I think the forcing of this health care bill down our throats just might help.
Govenor Patrick issued an Executive Order whiich seeks to make these illegal criminaliens the New Americans. Yes siree, that is the name of his latest Policy Executive Order. And get this.....
Quote...Patrick states that there are approximtely 910, 312 "Immigrants" living in Mass. He says that last year, they paid 1.2 billion dollars in taxes to Mass....and WERE ABLE TO SEND 654 MILLION DOLLARS BACK TO THEIR COUNTRIES OF ORIGIN."
Well, if Mass taxes at about 5.6 % and the 1.2 billion represents that 5.6% what the blazes is the 100% they earned? And how did they live? That is rhetorical. They lived on us.l I see them every day with full shopping carriages loaded with food, at the food pantry loaded with food, they are in our public housing, pack our emergency rooms, get free lunches in our schools, their high school kids get free equipment and anything else our kids have to pay for use of school equipment et cetera.
They work in local restaurants....our town is flooded with illegals....the Main St. is now their Main street and when they were asked at a recent soccer game to at least be quiet during the Anthem and they yelled back...."It's not our country."
Get a pamplet in your Post Office and see that the undocumented are required by federal law to register....they laugh and say the same...It's not our country."
Do you really think they care about being uninsured for health care? They have not flocked in Mass to be insured. Why should they? The only Enlish they have learned so far is....."me free?" We, the documented Americans need to take back our country. These millions of undocumented who pour into our country without health checks and criminal checks need to be on notice....we are looking....and reporting.....hope many of you will do the same. P.S. To those who think I am too tough....use your spare bedroom to take in a family of illegals...leave the front door open for their friends...leave the keys to your car in the ignition..don't bother about inurance for their driving inequities....they think America is a great big sanctuary and ATM machine.
