My area is experiencing the complete opposite. In Minneapolis and St. Paul crime is way down for the 2nd straight year in almost every category. As one example, in the last decade Minneapolis has had anywhere from 50-95 murders/year. This year I think there have only been about 14, which is completely unheard of.

I was responding to you saying that crime is on the rise due to the economy and I was disagreeing with it because crime in my area is WAY down. I'm not sure what California's numbers of illegals has anything to do with that exchange.
I live in California and the Governments lack of enforcement in regards to immigration is a JOKE!!!!Perhaps our Clown in chief the Great Saviour Obama can't grasp the concept that we have laws to screen out undesirebles and criminals when people enter this Great Country.That's why we have the INS,Border Patrol and Homeland Security.What a joke it is when we can't keep out and screen for rapists,criminals,drug addicts and all the rest.How are we going to keep out a few terrorists when we can't keep out 15-20 million illegals.No I do not want to hear that is all Bush's fault,yes he was a bad president,but the one we have now is a smooth talking,pandering JOKE!!!Under his watch things are going downhill fast!!!!What is the point in having the INS if your going to impede their abillity to do the job right,we need to start siezing the assets of illegal aliens,the assets of those that employ,harbor or are complicit in the illegal activities associated with them and bill the governments of the countries they came from to pay for costs associated with them to protect oor country's citizentry!!!!
I think all politicians, including Texas Governor Rick Perry should be put on the spot and asked, "how did this guy who got deported three times get back in to rape this girl?"
