Where do these people get their nerve? Illegals are demanding legalization, as though they have a right to be here. Now, we have their countries of origin demanding a seat at our negotiation table. Heaven forbid, illegals should return home and start demanding changes from their own governments; or that these countries should accept responsibility for their own citizens, rather than relying on U.S. taxpayers.

San Salvador, Dec 18 (EFE) .-The Central American countries will present next year to the U.S. an immigration reform proposal focused on comprehensive care for thousands of immigrants from the region, Salvadoran Foreign Ministry announced today.

"For the first time Central America will have its own immigration reform instrument, which responds to the needs and aspirations of Central Americans living illegally in the U.S.," said Vice Minister for Salvadorans abroad, Juan Jose Garcia.

"From now on, Central America will sit at the table of dialogue and negotiation with a tool that allows us to have an impact," the deputy minister in a meeting with the press, saying that they have the support of organizations and unions U.S.

"The region is also willing to create conditions to make immigration a choice of life freely assumed and not a necessity dictated by external factors," complemented Garcia.

"It's an innovative step, brave, very sensible and very responsible," he said, as Guatemala's ambassador in El Salvador, Silvia Caceres, stressed that "Central America is united" to get their citizens with a legal immigration status.
How about “uniting” to improve conditions in your own damn countries.

That is quite a display of arrogance. I'm sure this has to do with the declining remittances and the repatriation of these people.

Read, they are freaking out their poor are returning home empty handed.

Let these idiots demand everything short of having the US surrender. They can wave their own country's flags demand special treatment, social security, welfare, jobs and whatever else they can think of.Better yet more protests, they can block freeways, riot, burn down blighted areas, scream and cry.The sooner this gets started the quicker the massive backlash against them will mount. They need to have May Day parades every week.Last time they had a day without a Mexican in LA it was great, less traffic on the road,a few less people at the stres and a whole lot quieter(what a great change). They should do this a lot more!!!Also they can ramp up the media services and broadcast this BS 24/7 so the rest of the US can wake up and see what a monster our JOKE president ,crooked politicians and sellout industries have created. This is not France ,where a few years back they had people (immigrants?) rioting and burning cars for over a month.Let thgese fools feed into their eventual demise.Let the rest of the country see them for what they really are.Freeloading,criminal,anti-American invaders. If this was still part of that fairy tale Aztlan it would be TJ North with all it's glorious brothels, drugs, disease, crime, crooked cops and politicians, trash and illiterate masses.

Basically, they are asking another country to take some of their residents and citizens off of their hands? LOL So, what are they going to do for us? This isn't a democracy. Our federal government could care less about what we want and they have all these talks with other countries and decide without our input. They mentioned the "needs" and "aspirations" of the people from their country, but what about US citizens and residents? That's the thing: all of these pro-illegal immigrant groups talk about what they want and what is best for them, but they never take into consideration how all of this affects the rest of us.

Cheap labor is the name of the game; which is precisely why the citizens of this country are the least of their concerns. These countries realize the U.S. corporate masters have become addicted to cheap labor, and they are more than willing to barter their underclass. After all, they ARE expendable. It’s a win-win for them and the greedy employers of illegal aliens. They can send their uneducated masses to the U.S. and lessen their own burden, while reaping billions in remittances. Meanwhile, the greed-obsessed corporations can continue to compete against the “slave” wages in China and India.

With the exception of the meager wages paid to illegal aliens, and the lack of physical coercion and confinement, parallels exist between our current cheap labor industry and our former slave trade. In both scenarios, the “masters” receive a steady supply of exploitable cheap labor, while the leadership of foreign countries benefit from a steady source of revenue. Only now, foreign countries receive monthly remittances from their citizen rejects, rather than being compensated directly on a per-head basis. I guess this is the “humane” strategy. However, unlike the former slave trade, U.S. taxpayers foot the bill for the expenses of this cheap labor workforce; and, all who oppose are branded as racists and xenophobes. Actually, it’s quite ingenious; particularly, the “racism” component. After all, few relish the idea of being considered a racist, especially in our PC-driven nation.

There will be no amnesty; but there will be a reduction in enforcement under the guise of humanitarianism. The handwriting is on the wall. They are releasing “non-violent” illegals from our prisons (too costly); they have halted workplace raids, instead focusing on the employers (a joke); they are systematically eliminating 287(g) due to alleged racial profiling and discrimination (another joke); they refuse to mandate E-Verify for all employment; they have even set a precedent for changing the legal terminology from illegal alien to “undocumented” at the Supreme Court level, thus marginalizing illegal immigration. Not to mention, Napolitano proclaiming non-criminal status to illegal aliens.

We can expect a continuation of the status quo, while Congress prolongs debates between the Gutierrez and Schumer so-called immigration reform bills. The Gutierrez bill was deliberately drafted so absurdly as to give the Schumer bill the appearance of a viable compromise. Neither bill resolves our illegal immigration problems, and essentially repeats the 1986 “final” amnesty bill. Moreover, our government is as ill-prepared to enforce the proposed laws as our current.

While we continue to debate the issue, illegal immigration will continue to flourish, and the middle class will continue to sink further into the abyss. As long as illegals are permitted to work, and employers can reap the benefits, all is well. Sadly, U.S. citizens are simply collateral damage in the elites’ quest for global competitiveness. Clearly, between illegal immigration, outsourcing, and in-sourcing, the middle class is being screwed. Problem is, who will supply the tax base to sustain this country once the middle class has been eradicated?

Welcome to the New World Order.

Do it a little at a time so that it goes unnoticed. The new global economy filled with global citizens.
The problem is the first world nations will get lowered standards by the sheer number of third world nation people moving into them.

The social programs offered here in the US are worth the fight for any illegal to come here.
Yes, I know they are not supposed to qualify..but we do not turn anyone away..remember ?
Medical, educational, food, housing. The basic needs are covered by the US citizen taxes.

It's been years in the making if you haven't noticed. And this article, I'll bet, will fly under the radar with the masses of Americans that only care what the latest celebrity is doing or not doing these days.

A very sad truth.

Overall, I tend to agree with You HT....But I take articles such as this one and copy ( with link) and save it....and will post it in a forum in some out of state newspaper. Sometimes I get yelled at, along with the expected race card being played, and sometime a discussion actually gets going....

While the MSM may not be doing it's job, that doesn't mean I can't do a little bit of "spreading the word"

As the unemployment rates rise (while they still pay taxes) I'm thinking this is starting to come onto the radar of a lot more people.
