With homegrown terrorism increasing and Islamic extremists dedication to their misguided, evil causes, how safe can America really be? Obama,Napolitano and the rest of the Administration are only fooling themselves. With 15 - 20 million Illegals already here and a porous border it's only a matter of time(if not already) that they will be staging attacks here.
The costs in extra security for air travel and Government buildings must be astronomical since 911. If we don't secure our borders in the future we will have to implement Iraeli type security with checkpoints just to travel in the USA. Obama talks a good game, but it's high time Obama and our future leaders need to act now or it will be too late.

The last idiot we had for President (Bush) stated that we helped rebuild Germany and Japan after WW2, but he seemed to forget that when the war ended the Germans and Japanese didn't spend the years afterward blowing each other up. These terrorists can not be reasoned with and they believe their religion justifies it.

The news there will be the same as it has in years past roadside bombs, beheadings, hostages taken .This will continue for years to come.If they manage to bring that here the costs to the US economy and it,t citizens would be staggering.

Given the threats posed by Muslim extremists and the Mexican drug cartels, one would expect our government to secure our borders. Apparently cheap labor trumps national security. They won’t be satisfied until decapitations and suicide bombs are the norm. This should concern all citizens.

The biggest mistake Bush made was the fact that he didn't consider a cultural difference. Both Germany and Japan had a strong sense of national Identity. In other words they were not of a tribal mentality.
In other words most identify with a clan or a tribe over what country they are from. Add to the problem is religous fanatics control the masses.
What we have is an invasion of illegals who still cling to their former nationality and wish to force it upon us.

With growing Muslim extremism ,both abroad and homegrown the Obama administration is going to have to strengthen not only air security but also ground security. The US is vulnerable to foreign terrorists through this route, unless he can implement something more effective soon it WILL happen eventually.

The border is/has been open and porous at best....If the government has no intention of stopping illegals, I don't see how they can stop a terrorist.
unless, of course, they are profiling for "terrorists"

Actually; the Islamists know better than to start decapitating especially 'Infidels' here in the USA-----------such behavior could trigger something like a holocaust against them. As it is; Muslims are not always trusted due to their faith with the notable exception of secular ones.

They "sort of" are profiling terrorists now...

Airports have tightened security for all planes heading to the US. Wonderful idea. I think they should be screening those who head into Mexico and Canada.
As long as we leave our borders open we will continue to be invaded by illegals and terrorists from around the world.

Anyone determined enough to exact revenge will do so. US actions have increased terrorism. When we act like the "golden child who thinks he can get away with anything in the world," someone else will take exception, and give (as they see it) an appropriate response.

Absolutely. I've heard that some Middle Easterners are going to Mexico, living there to learn the language and customs, then crossing the border, and passing themselves off as Mexicans in this country. This is to allay our fears, because no one expects Mexicans to be suicide bombers, or terrorists.
