Why would they want to start from scratch, and replace a system that has been proven to be highly effective?
Quote:
The legislation introduced December 15 by Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.) would dismantle whatever vestige of meaningful immigration enforcement that the Obama administration has been unable to eviscerate by executive fiat. While calling for enforcement against employers who hire illegal aliens, CIR ASAP would eliminate the only existing – and highly effective – employment eligibility verification system, known as E-Verify. E-Verify would be replaced by some yet to be developed system that could take decades to implement. Also eliminated by CIR ASAP would be the ability of state and local law enforcement to assist in immigration enforcement, except in extenuating circumstances.
With some 25 million Americans unemployed or underemployed, CIR ASAP would also make millions of illegal aliens immediately eligible to compete for every available job in the United States.
I smell a rotten fish, don't you? What is wrong with e-verify in its present form? It is highly accurate to the tune of over 98%. That is precisely why Gutierrez and the rest of his ethnocentric followers want it scrapped. It would get the majority of illegals off the payrolls. What is wrong with state and local law enforcement helping the Feds enforce immmigration law? It is effective and that is why the pro-illegals don't want it. They must really think we are stupid to not know what their agenda is.
Thank you! I think anytime those who are Hispanic or Latino and are in political positions, and are promoting and asking for things like this, you have to question their motive. It is obvious that a lot of Hispanic politicians will push for unfair and discrimnatory laws, amendments, reform and other actions. How is this not unfair to other groups? How can these people be in positions of power while allowed to be biased? Is no one checking them? If Obama began to push for things that obviously benefited Black Americans, people would notice that. In fact, people were talking about that. So how is this any different? I can understand standing up for rights, justice of legal residents and citizens, but pushing to make it easier for one group to get away with being here illegally is crazy.
They are good at pimping the system and the system is letting them.

If non-hispanic Americans would join together and not vote for any hispanic politicians until they can prove that they aren't biased ethnocentrics just promoting their own including their own ethnic kind here illegally we could shut down this division we have in our country on illegal immigration. Hispanic citizens just do not have the numbers on their own to keep voting in their own to public office.
