It doesn't matter what color the hair or eyes, if here illegally, i still don't want them here, looks has not a thing to do with this. Why did you Swedish? I don't get your thread, would this really make a big difference to you. The thread is about illegals, I don't care if they come from MARS, if they are here illegally, they can go back, just as fast as they came.
Swedish, with blond hair and blue eyes? Would we really be having all this uproar? Probably not....
Of COURSE not! I'm surprised you'd ask. If the Mexican 'immigrants' were really all Swedish, we'd be totally DISGUSTED with them. "Mexicans have an excuse", we'd say. "They come from a poor, Third World country; they have no tradition of fair laws; most of them are poorly educated, and they simply have no concept of US society, or WHY it's wrong to immigrate here illegally. Mexican illegals need our patience, compassion, and understanding; they can't HELP the way they are.
"But SWEDES? Are you kidding me? Swedes are rich; they're educated, cosmpolitan people; they come from a very enlightened, benevolent, liberal society, with almost universal literacy and virtually NO class disparity. They are taken care of from 'cradle to grave' by a supportive social system, and they have an acute understanding of laws. Any Swede who, after all that 'privilege', has the unmitigated AUDACITY to enter the US illegally, ought to be thrown straight into jail, fined HEAVILY, and deported straight back to Sweden at his own expense. There's simply NO way a Swede could be an illegal immigrant...they should KNOW better; after all, they DO have blond hair and blue eyes...don't they? They ought to be ASHAMED of themselves", we'd all say.
No. if all the illegals were Swedes, the uproar wouldn't be like it is now...it would be WORSE. I can't imagine a sadder scene than a mob of angry, rock-throwing Swedes rioting in the streets, flying Swedish flags, and carrying signs in Swedish demanding their 'rights' (PLUS demanding the return of Delaware, because it 'used to belong to Sweden'). It would be totally disgusting; we'd all shake our heads in disbelief.
On the other hand, if all the Mexicans were Swedes, then none of us would probably ever be tempted to visit a Mexican restaurant, either (yuck !)...but, of course, that's another topic...
