Starting invoicing and charging the Mexican Government every month for the illegals here?

Should we do it?

I say kick them out but if that doesn't work, let them stay here but invoice the Mexican government in US dollars. That way we keep the cheap labor and they will not be paid for from my tax dollars. This way, they will be good for something.

This government will do what it wants when it wants with no regard for the majority.

Because this country is NOT a democracy and these days it seems it's not even a representative republic.

Mexico should pay for the health care costs and food stamps of it's citizens living here. It's hard to see how anyone could argue that.

Why refer to the government as this government. Why not call it like it is. The left wing amnesty democratic politicians are running the government until the Nov elections. The left wing amnesty democratic politicians have from now until the Nov elections, when they will lose their supermajorities, to try to use their current supermajorities to force through amesty legislation that 80 percent of America opposes.

Knowing that the Mexican gov would never reimburse a dime on any invoice to them for illegals here, I always figured that you would eventually get around to a let illegals stay stance. What you're really saying is 'let the illegals stay until Maobama can get them amnestied' aren't you? Once a liberal, always a liberal.

Default Not a good idea...

The idea won't work. Mexico's already got problems with the drug cartels and because both their government and ours are working together to combat the cartels the last thing we need to do is **** off the very people that are helping us.

By billing the Mexican government for our illegal immigration problem they can easily cut us a blank check and empty their prisons and criminal underworlds into the United States as payback. It's good to get their money but we'll be overrun by drug lords.

Think about the Mariel Boat Lift in 1980.

Makes more sense to tax the heck out of remittances as a "fee" just the way our govt fees us when they can't pass new taxes.

Some members of Congress have already proposed billing countries for taxpayer services for illegal aliens. Below is one such bill.

Quote:
U.S. Representative Zack Space (OH-18) today announced a key bill requiring that American taxpayers be paid back for the costs of health care services incurred by hospitals treating illegal immigrants.

Payments would be withheld from foreign aid and transferred to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection to strengthen border security and prevent illegal immigration from happening in the first place.

Space’s legislation, the Preventing All Your Bucks from Aiding non-Citizens is Key (PAYBACK) Act withholds 110% of the costs of treating unlawful aliens from any foreign assistance provided to another country. If the United States does not offer any foreign assistance, the country is essentially billed for 110% of the medical costs.
