Although many of us do not march, nor burn flags, nor spit in faces (meaning violent attitude) of illegals or associate with racists groups or break the law or drain this economy or demand addition of a foreign language or ask to allow all of our criminal behavior to be amnestied or ask for free handouts or whine how wrong our criminal behavior is not being rewarded (the list will go on but it would exhaust me!) WE still get the job done by following the laws and the system of this Great country, America.

This is a YAY day for me, thank you for this thread.

So they can stop anyone they think might be illegal? Gee wonder who they will be stopping?
I think that is a little excessive and in need of greater definition.

Oh come on!

As an American (of Mexican decent), we should be willing to give up some of our rights because the majority of illegals are of the same background. It would be un-American to not smile at the police officer pulling you over on the way to work and gladly give them your ID. Make sure to say " have a nice day officer, thanks for enforcing the law! I don't mind"..just don't make the mistake of saying "gracias, que te vaya bien".

I don’t believe they will actually stop people. I think the bill is intended to send a message, and thus force illegals to leave.

How can you be so sure? I mean that is what the law states.

If they intended on not stoping people, why did they put it in there?

As usual, Illegals and their supporters are more worried about "legal enforcement".

Remember, we have federal immigration laws which haven’t been enforced for many years.

To start enforcing "existing" immigration laws.
