To the OP...wonderful post, nope would never live there, relocating to the moutains soon (15 days!), where no illegals are, or would move too, not ever moving again either, the $%#%# has not hit the fan yet, thankfully we will be safe from it all, as much as possible, cause no one will do anything about it, noone really can fight the dark forces that be here anyhow.

Eventually they will be everywhere -

I moved because the town I was in was overrun with them. I'm now in an area that is free from them - for now.

I love the fact I can drive/walk around my neighborhood and see nice houses, nice yards.

Actually there are relatively few Mexicans in Northern CA. Their main immigrant group are Asians and are mostly legal. The problems with illegals are in Southern CA.

Maybe so, I guess once the word gets out you can live off taxpayers monies and not work, the entire country will come pouring in, leaving Mexico a ghost country. Well, I did what I can for now, but the town I am moving too, is not going to welcome them to warmly, its a small southern town, and they got the dixie flag on their community sign, along with the masonic and lions club...it will be some time before they ruin that one!

California has long since passed the stage of "becoming" Mexifornia. So, California "is" Little Mexico.

So I'm saying: Hasta La Vista

I've already received a "Welcome Greeting" from people in Oklahoma and the Mayor of Duncan, OK. and I have'nt even left Mexifornia yet.

tkdmom,I appreciate your concern. I have researched several different states and their infastructure from population growth to personal lifestyles and main Agendas of the politicians, both Local and State.
Although I've lived in California for 35 years, I was originally born and raised in Michigan. I would'nt move back to my Home state if my life depended on it.
I have Relatives in Ohio,Texas, Florida and Illinois. You could'nt pay me to move to either of those states. (Ohio may have some exceptions).
But I have found Oklahoma to have the least of the problems that I try and avoid.
In comparison to California, it's next to paridise. I'll assume that your comment

was not meant as a negative one.
Ask anyone living in California, you actually have to live here to really know what it's like. Sure California is'nt the only state infested with Illegal Immigration, but it has the highest population of Illegals and they can't be ignored. there in your face! whether you like it or not.
That can put and end to anyones California dream.
