He does make a good point though. For a couple of reasons. If there was a system in place to allow illegal immigrants to be legal and even gain a visa college, the costs would be cheaper than to deport or even just deny them an education. Overall, there would be a net benefit (since college educated individuals make more on average than those that do not have a degree...more taxes and less reliance on state programs). It costs WAY less to educate than to deport a person.
Of course though, you have the emotional outcry. Instead of looking things objectively, people are more willing to spend more money based on emotionality. The irony is that the outcry typically concerns tax dollars. So people rally to deport or deny education to save money, yet it costs WAY more in the long run.
It's a HORRIBLE analogy to compare grades to immigration status. Many times these people didn't have a choice. You, however, have more latitude with your grades (studying, doing well on tests, etc.) Immigration status is not directly up to you (WAY more variables). I know that people love to use bad analogies and try to apply concepts when they don't apply...but why can't we move on from doing this?

That's the same as saying: let all the criminals 55yr's old and older go because they'll be dead within 20-30 years from now.
Why should the state subsidize their education if they're illegally here?
Let them pay the tuition that a foreign student would pay if they want to attend that University, with no subsidy from the state or federal government.

Don't ya know that that would be unfair, unconstitutional and even called racial profiling

Exactly, hey I have no problem with immigrants in our classrooms. I think Americans should get first crack at the seats but if there are open seats immigrants should be allowed to sit in them. I don't agree with paying for their tuition though and to that point if they are here illegally they should NOT be allowed to attend unless they can prove they haven't touched a dime of public money and are capable of paying their way.

No it's not. I can't comment on more due to the stupidity of the statement.
What part of "ILLEGAL" don't you understand????
Gay marriage is illegal...umm...so is marijuana...that doesn't mean those are good policie. Just because something is deemed illegal doesn't mean that it should be deemed illegal. Just because the laws state one thing, doesn't mean it SHOULD state said thing. You are taking a staid stance on law. Laws are dynamic and need to reflect the reality of the situation.
