I live is a growing development in Texas. A large number of the workers are illegal. How do I know, I speak spanish and have talked with dozens of them over the past months. I don't see anything being done about it.

Yes there are legals that would do the work, plumbers, roofers, electricians, painters, not just menial labor.

In the Republican Gubernatorial debate, Rep. Governor Rick Perry said that illegal students here that graduated High school in Texas should be allowed to attend Texas college with State aid.

Rep. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutsinson said that she is for E-verify for State Contracts...but nothing for non-governmental contracts or businesses.

so who do you vote for the Dems?

If you read the articles you would have seen it was not a matter of just pulling over a bus and it was determined to be trafficing of humans. There was a several month or more investigation. It only makes you look bad when you insult the interpretation of the average reader.
