I so enjoy reading about the Escondido DL checks that net about 30 cars per visit.

What "business" is an Illegal conducting in the middle of the night that they need to be driving when they get caught in these dragnets?

The City finally gets to recoup some money by auctioning off these cars. It is only a pittance but it's at least some type of contribution from the Illegal Alien horde that gets a separate set of laws to abide by (or not).

OH ya
= FAIL ............

ONLY if you're of the correct ethnicity. American citizens will still be expected to follow the law, have their cars registered, covered by liability insurance and driven by a licensed driver. Only the one group is given a pass to do whatever they like and break laws that don't convenience them.

I believe it was part of the NAFTA deal where agreements were made by their politicians and our politicians.

It was known beforehand that NAFTA would destroy millions of Mexican campesinos but the cheap maquila labor was desired by the big corporations and some people on both became very very rich from it.

I believe that in order to get the Mexican government to pass NAFTA so that it's campesinos would be ruined, it was agreed that the border would be opened and unenforced so that tens of millions of them could be enticed to cross it illegally to become the cheap dirt-paid servants in the USA.

NAFTA did make a few people very rich so it was worth it to them.

But giving CA, NM, AZ, TX, CO, NV, and so on to Mexico wouldn't accomplish anything but cause a huge population shift north and east. Medicaid, food stamps, free government provided housing and so on would not be provided by their new federal government and so people would just relocate to the states still in the USA. They don't want to live in Mexico or they'd be doing that. They want to keep their language and culture but have all the benefits of living in the USA.

Bravo! I think that you hit the nail on the head. But I think that the plan was initially sold by lying that only a few thousand illegals would actually break in unvited if the border was opened up and enforcement of immigration laws was essentially stopped. But the few greedy employers of illegals quickly saw the enormous profits that they could make for themselves with the, actually not so cheap in reality, cheap illegal labor and poured large sums of money into buying off corrupt members of Congress to keep the illegal labor coming and the border wide open and thus the illegal Mexican invasion was underway.

And if treasonous Wash DC did decide to 'return' the above states to Mexico: I will guarantee that the Law of Unintended Consequences would kick in--------and, hard. Read that how in the hell would Mx be able to secure the above territories for starters, rhetorically speaking? Note that Americans here have scads of guns and the Mx military would be ground up via guerilla warfare, minimum.

Such would the death knell of Mexico with it losing much more of its land to a consortium of the above (former) US states and I would all guarantee there would be 'ethnic cleansing' of Sonora, etc.

Here's an article about DUI checkpoints and the Illegal Aliens who are caught driving through them DUI traps snag more cars than drunks, investigation finds - OC Watchdog : The Orange County Register the article states immigrants but it's easy to see that a good portion of them are Illegal aliens especially in Sanctuary Cities like South Gate. These people think their special and don't have to follow the laws, they should step this up and impound their vehicles and auction them off to help pay for some of the State's expenses in dealing with them.

If you do not have a license, the police are not suppose to let you get back behind the wheel, no matter who you are.

If you are behind the wheel, it is the law that you have your license to drive with you, not just a number you have memorized.

They take your car here, unless there is another licensed driver to drive it.
