I'd like to try and keep the discussion focused on San Diego specifically and not the pros or cons of the immigration issue, I understand there is another forum for that...

I'm just wondering what you all think the effects of the proposed immigration bill would be on San Diego if it passes.

I can't imagine anyone wanting to stay South of the border when they can easily walk into the US legally. Won't this dramatically reshape the city of San Diego?

Well, the 1986 amnesty of 3 million illegals led to 12-20 million illegals today depending on who's numbers you use. A couple more rounds and there won't be anyone left in Mexico to sneak across the border. I guess that's one way to end illegal immigration.
