So Palin says that 'they're called illegal aliens for a reason. If they're not going to follow the rules they should not be in our country. You close the borders. You get more aggressive about cracking down on the illegal aliens. We take it serious what our BP officers are trying to do'.

Palin is obviously against illegal immigration. What we do need clarification on is what would Palin do with the 20 million illegals already here. Amnesty them? Deport them? Force them into self deportation?
these are her words, she can always clarify the meaning or say I dont believe that anymore but as of today this is what she feels on Deportation and pathway...

To clarify, so you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants?
I do because I understand why people would want to be in America. To seek the safety and prosperity, the opportunities, the health that is here. It is so important that yes, people follow the rules so that people can be treated equally and fairly in this country.

As governor, how do you deal with them? Do you think they all should be deported?
There is no way that in the US we would roundup every illegal immigrant -there are about 12 million of the illegal immigrants- not only economically is that just an impossibility but that's not a humane way anyway to deal with the issue that we face with illegal immigration.

Who are the Nationl American Political leaders that do believe in Deportation?

Humane: the USA feeding/housing illegals prior to their deportation.
Inhumane: treating illegals the way that the Mexican authorities treat Guatemalans.

Yeah, you're right, the opinion of some Catholic priest matters much more than the opinion of one of the most recognized politicians in the country.

You are unbelievable.

The only path Illegal aliens need to take is the one back home.In this economy with Obama's imaginary "SAVED JOBS" and all his other economic short commings the enviorment has really turned against Illegals and their supporters, any politician who continues down the Amnesty path is commiting political suicide.Let all these traitors come out of the woodwork , so we can see where they really stand.Amnesty is dead, CIR talk is just that talk.Illegals can keep dreaming the longer we are in reccession/depression nothing is going to cahnge for them .Their Messiah(Obama) is full of it.and after the midterm elections he will be like any other lame duck president(only 1 year earlier for him).Amnesty is far less important to him than Healthcare reform,Gays in the military(both of these isues are still unresolved) and the economy.Hell even Toyota's problems are getting more attention then Illegals,so keep DREAMING!!!

How true.

Removals of illegal immigrants have increased under the Obama administration. In fiscal 2009, they grew to 387,790 from 291,060 in 2007 under the Bush administration, government data show.

Asked to respond to Gutierrez's remarks, Department of Homeland Security spokesman Matt Chandler said in a written statement that the administration remained "committed to confronting this problem" through administrative and enforcement tools, along with working with Congress toward a solution.

Oh, yeah...I forgot about that. As much as I dislike Palin and believe she is completely oblivious to MANY things, her words hold a little more credence than a priest who isn't AT ALL connected to higher levels of politics and policy. Though Palin is no longer in office, she is still a part of the political community at large.

Nationwide, deportations have also increased, with nearly 350,000 immigrants sent home through September 2008, compared with about 174,000 in the same period in 2004.

how many illegal immigrants did the federal office deport this year

183,000 were given green cards as part of the normal "legal" immigration process.3

350k -183k= 167k deportation rate ...of 15 million. it will only take 80 years at current rates.

Let's not forget the fact that she supported secession from the union. What the hell did she care what happened in the lower 48 unless it concerned her fattening her bank account. Her views and rhetoric are so inconsequential, that she has reached her pinnacle. She should count her lucky stars that she has quite serendipitously, gained a level of undeserved celebrity and profits.
