From the Zogby Poll...

Table 5. Attitudes Toward
a Guestworker Program

The President and Congress are also considering what is called a “guestworker”
program that would allow several hundred thousand people from Mexcio into the
United States for a few years, after which they are supposed to return home. Do you think most of these guestworkers would . . .?

Of All Ameircans polled 77% vote no they would not return.

In the Texan Voter Poll, Voters were ask if they would favor a "Guest Worker" program.

I dont believe any indication was set in the Texas Voter Poll, as to the Guest workers would be taken form the Aliens already here to lower those numbers. This option of reducing the numbers of undocumented workers from illegal aliens already in country is far better proposal than letting thousands more workers in and not adressing the undocumented workers already here.

Zogby only askes the question, "Do you think they would return?".

No, not referring to your c/p at all. I deal with the same problems. I referred to what I bolded.

Also odd, have been a visitor of (Houston) Texas for many months now, and have only found those of hispanic to want amnesty. Given that, a large population of hispanics are here. I've asked of different races, black, white, asian, indian, hispanic...(in a conversational setting)...not one wanted amnesty.
