Chicken processor fined for illegal workers | cincinnati.com | Cincinnati.Com

Although the fine will certainly not break this company, the message is loud and clear. It's refreshing to see changes like this being made and certainly a step in the right direction.

If only 20 are being charged with forgery what did the rest use for documents? Crayon drawings?

Chicken processors hiring illegals? It's a right wing conspiracy, I tell you!....Sometimes it's hard to keep a breast of just how crooked some of these big corprations can be. Illegals have always been WAY down in the pecking order. I hope these greedy employers fry.....the whole thing makes me broiling mad. They're SO cocky..

Poultry processing plants and meat packing plants have been notorious for hiring illegals for at least the last 30 years.

It has gotten so bad, that a meat packing plant in central Minnesota has denied local workers employment cuz they couldn't speak Spanish.

Oh no, it's because Americans do not WANT the jobs!

Tell that to my BIL who lost his managerial position, after 20 years service, to cheap labor.

Awhile back, a Nebraska meat packing plant got raided and many illegals were led away. The management expressed shock that any of their workers were illegals.

Shock ? After they had paid for big billboard near the Mexican border advertizing ( in Spanish) for workers?

Shock? After they supplied transportation from the border to Nebraska via double decker cattle semi trailers with the " recruits" laying down during their night trip north to Nebraska ?
