Then what happens?

Your last two sentences are just nonsense. There are 300 million people in this country that like to eat, a huge percentage of their food comes from illegal labor. You are advocating starvation for millions of Americans?

I like patriots, they always put their country first.
If they want to stay in business....they'll make changes.

As a resident of CA I have no doubt things can and will get done, things will be harvested, fruit will be picked, etc. even after we enact e-verify. Things will change, true, but in the end it will benefit all legal residents.

Uhmm The back of the seed package actually tells you about when the crop will be ready for harvest. Years of farming should answer any questions. lets face facts using migrant workers didn't just start this year. We have been doing it for many years. Farmers know when they can expect to start their harvest. The excuse that it takes too long to get legal VISA's? Just that an excuse.

And such will help those Mexican nationals, etc. who would then be here under visas vs. illegally...........they will have some protection from unscrupulous employers.

It should be clear by now that the apologists for those here illegally will always find an argument for why the laws of this land should not be enforced.........

Your exactly right. I don't even know why we're arguing with them.

NumbersUSA:

It was another great week for us on the state level! Kentucky and Virginia each took big steps toward passing mandatory E-Verify for state agencies and contractors. And the Minnesota House approved an E-Verify amendmen t to a stimulus bill. Thanks to all our activists in these three states whose phone calls and faxes made a difference.

Congress will be back in town next week, and the Senate will begin work on a Jobs bill, so make sure you check with us early next week for any faxing/calling opportunities to ensure jobs created go to American workers and legal immigrants.

Three House Members have taken the lead on protecting American Jobs. Reps. Lamar Smith (R-Texas), Gary Miller (R-Calif.) and Sue Myrick (R-N.C.) have formed the Reclaim American Jobs Caucus. Their goal is to raise public awareness of the connection between illegal immigration and unemployment, pressure the Obama Administration to vigorously enforce the laws against the employment of illegal aliens, work to implement legislation that will protect U.S. jobs from the impact of illegal immigration (especially to make E-Verify mandatory) and work to defeat legislation that will put U.S. jobs at risk from the impact of illegal immigration (especially to defeat amnesty).

If your Member of Congress hasn't already become part of this Caucus, there's a new fax on you Action Board urging them to join.
