The average income if illegal immigrants is in the mid 40k range...the median is about in the high 30 range. Lower middle class to be sure, but not enough to depress wages...

It is never acceptable for an employer or an employee to circumvent our laws. Obeying laws should be a priority over money.

We have supplied many links to data that backups the fact that illegal aliens are using many of our social services and whatever taxes they do pay do not cover these costs.

Umm...the majority have paid taxes and the minority use welfare services. This has been documented at great length...

So the criminal employers of illegals need to keep exploiting illegals over hiring American citizens in order to continue lining their pockets from paying slave wages with no benefits?

And those craven thieves are competing with people (Americans) who have the right to live in the USA. Needless to say: E-Verify needs to be the law across the land.

No, they really aren't competing. That's a really fallacious premise. Not to mention the amount of people who could lose their jobs if E-Verify isn't implemented better.

Yeah, American citizens don't compete with illegals for the slave wages paid by the criminal employers of illegals because American citizens won't work for slave wages. Illegals are the only ones who will work for the slave wages paid by the criminal employers of illegals. By the way, E-verify is 99.5% accurate. Not too bad, huh?

E-verify works as follows:

93% of E-verifications are made within 5 seconds.
another 1.2% of E-verification are made within 24 hours with no additional action required.
Most of the remaining 5.8% who receive a tentative non-confirmation requiring further inquiry turn out to be illegal.

Only .5% were US citizens or authorized foreign workers who had to contact the SSA because of errors in the data base.

So much for your intended misinformation.

Giving blanket amnesty to millions of illegals will not be the answer to the recession. They will still be working the jobs nobody else wants to do and it could perhaps make the problem worse as the businesses who hire them now have to pay taxes on them, meaning that said businesses will have to let go a few to survive, and now that these people are "legal" it would only add to the already-high unemployment numbers.

estimates conclude that 8.3 million illegal aliens are part of America’s workforce despite their employment being a violation of U.S. law.

The American job market today, compared to June 2007 when Congress last considered and rejected amnesty, is much, much worse. The official unemployment rate has increased from 4.6 percent to 10.0 percent. The number of unemployed has more than doubled, rising by 8.5 million.
Odd is it not that 8.5 million are out of work and 8.3 Million Illegals are working. To me that says if we got rid of the 8.3 million illegals, we would only have 200k out of work by those numbers.... just sayin.
