I have to reiterate...I hate when people blindly don't read the links and then post things like this. There have been several threads on this topic, don't be lazy, you can search the links I posted. Or you can even Google. Or you can contact your local university or library for further assistance. The information is out there, hell it's on this website. Go and get it.

Retooling the economy, lost sales tax, lost revenue for property taxes, decline in overall commerce in many places, possible closures of some smaller to med. sized factories that lack the capital to retrain...

With our high unemployment rate: all of your concerns are moot.

No, actually if you try to do those things NOW it'll worsen the economy. Declining sales revenue in small towns will HURT those citizens. Does this make any sense to you? We've seen that in rural areas, illegal immigration has helped local economies.

I do not believe you.

One big thing that illegals do is drag down wages for a wide spectrum of Americans.

I know you don't and it's for obvious reasons. Hence why I urge you to do a little research and some other perspectives and some academic sources.

we all know the answer is that mexico hopes to improve their economy by sending their unwanted citizens here to make/take money and then send the money back to their country- which removes capital from our country, and then the money circulates and benefits mexico (and not the united states).

without some form of border protection, the situation will only get worse when the cantarell oil fields stop producing and they are in decline now. doesn't anyone think ahead in OUR government?
All countries trade in currency. It does Mexico or any other country, no good to keep dollars there. Mexico and all other countries use dollars to pay down debts and buy American products and services. Its called A World Wide economy.

E-verify works as follows:

93% of E-verifications are made within 5 seconds.
another 1.2% of E-verification are made within 24 hours with no additional action required.
Most of the remaining 5.8% who receive a tentative non-confirmation requiring further inquiry turn out to be illegal.

Only .5% were US citizens or authorized foreign workers who had to contact the SSA because of errors in the data base.

So much for your intended misinformation.
99.5% accurate? what electronic government system do you know even comes close to these numbers?

Please cite your source information.

We've supported them for decades, so crap on them. It's time we wake up and demand the stores pull imported products and replace them with USA made products. I'm thinking a march on wal-mart headqtrs might be a good place to start. Might as well start with the largest importer first. As for the illegals not using our social services,by what fantasy lying survey/poll was that? Guess you haven't had to wait in an emergency room behind them? Or pay for your trash pickup that they at the last minute dump theirs in with yours? Providing they don't flat out litter. Should I go on and keep showing how silly your looney left ideas of amnesty are?
You claim that the Poster was silly in their ideas...But please explain how would you force a legal US Buisness to remove legal products for sale from their store shelves.

What does infringing on a company's right to conduct legal business have to do with Undocumented Aliens in this country?

Im not a proponet of amnesty, but I think that is the concept of amnesty...to forgive the past wrong doings.

So if your not wanting amnesty because they are"A bunch of criminals" it kinda make amnesty a hollow point.
