In other words, either endorse continued abuse of taxpayers, or lose campaign contributions. What’s a candidate to do?

Quote:
LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — A Nebraska anti-abortion group that can make or break political candidates in some races said Thursday that state senators' stances on state-funded prenatal care for illegal immigrants will likely be a factor it uses when making campaign endorsements.

Nebraska Right to Life supports a bill that would continue state-funded prenatal care for illegal immigrants. The likelihood that the anti-abortion group will make the prenatal issue a factor when deciding whom to endorse later this month — even if it is a small factor — could play a role in how some state senators vote on the bill.

"It would be less than human if we said we didn't consider," endorsements from the group when deciding what position to take on the measure, said state Sen. Annette Dubas of Fullerton. She's one of the 13 lawmakers who face challengers in their re-election bids this year.

Last fiscal year, more than 2,800 pregnant, illegal immigrants in Nebraska received Medicaid services. As of last week, 840 pregnant, illegal immigrants were slated to lose state-and-federal funded prenatal care because of the Medicaid decision.

The candidates running should support deportations if not then they're going to have to support an ever growing problem that their State will have to fund for all eternity.First pre-natal care then childbirth,Anchor babies, post natal care, welfare, food stamps, housing ,schooling and even more infrastructure and whenword gets out about an Illegal alien friendly policy even more Illegals, more biligual everything it never really ends unless you take a stand in the beginning.

At the risk of sounding melodramatic, I honestly believe that massive illegal immigration, coupled with massive numbers of anchor babies, unless halted, will be a major factor in the demise of this country.

Seems like Pro-Choice Liberals and Pro-Life Conservatives may be on the same page on this one. The Anti-Illegal movement is on the other side saying no tax dollars to Illegal Aliens. Then we have Legislators in the middle.

Pro-Life conservatives used to wield a lot of power with Conservative Legislators, but with the vocal Tea Party / Anti-Illegal making legislators from both parties take notice.

So we will soon see what group has the power, and down what road America will travel.

Good prenatal care is essential. However, taxpayers should not be obligated to pay for the pregnancies of illegal aliens. Not only are we burdened with these astronomical costs, we are then burdened with 18 years of welfare and subsidized housing. And the list goes on. . .

Once again, you dont have to convence me...Its the Pro-life conservatives that wish to continue subsidized pre-natal health care for illegal aliens.

I am also pro-life, but I am opposed to this flagrant abuse. Hopefully, common sense will prevail, but I doubt it. Money and power will triumph, as we sink further into the abyss.
