Thank you Benicar; for addressing this issue. So much of what we will never hear by the news media, is not an oversight, but apparently deliberate.

We have indeed been completely sold out by our politicians for their own personal gains.....

Default Update

Quote:
The rallying cry for supporters of Arizona's new immigration bill has been the murder of rancher Robert Krentz at the hands of immigrants. But according to reports, the main suspect in the case is an American, not Mexican.
High-ranking government sources told the Arizona Daily Star that Cochise County Sheriff Larry Dever is investigating an American in the murder case that has become a cause célèbre for anti-immigrant activists, conservative politicians, and Matt Drudge. Republican Senate candidate J.D. Hayworth called Krentz a "martyr" for border security. Politicians have also used the man's death to ask for the deployment of National Guard troops along the border to keep illegal immigrants out.

I just wanted to give an update. This does not change my mind. I believe it should a priority to enforce the border.

the illusion that illegals are good hard working people just looking for a better life stopped in about 1994 here. most crossing now have a "delito" o orden de detencion". felony or warrent out for their arrest before they ever cross.

The newspaper, quoting unnamed, "high-ranking government officials," at first reported that the killer is believed to be an American. That was corrected with an editor's note saying that the nationality of the shooter remains unknown. A subsequent Associated Press story, also based on an unidentified source, said the killer is a Mexican citizen.
News report on rancher's killer irks Cochise sheriff

The general consensus is that Krentz's murderer is indeed a Mexican national, not a US citizen.

There was a footnote at the end of this article:
Update: The Arizona Daily Star has added an editor's note to the previously linked article:

Earlier versions of this news story referred to the possible suspect in the Krentz killing investigation as American. The story - as originally reported - said the suspect is believed to be in the United States. It was changed to 'American' in the editing process. To be clear, the suspect is believed to be in the US. The suspect's nationality is unknown.

I think they threw this article out there with this title to make the majority of readers, who only read titles, believe that is was not an immigrant when in fact they don't know.

We'll never find out the truth especially if it was an illegal alien. Our PC media won't allow that to be leaked out.
