You Don't Speek For Me (http://www.dontspeakforme.org/videos.html - broken link)
It would be wise for us to offer our support for these two groups. Bush and his pro-illegal immigration buddies will not be able to write these people off.
I would say that I know at least half of the people who spoke at that news conference and have stood side by side with them at rallies against illegal immigration. When the mainstream media tries to tell you that the only people against illegal immigration are racist, backwoods, white folks, I want you to remember this video and know that you, the American public, are being lied to. It is not racist to insist that people who want to come into this country do so legally. It is not racist to decry the lack of entry level and unskilled jobs in this country when the people who were doing them are now unemployed and sinking into the same poverty that Bush and his cronies claim they want to save illegal aliens from, but at the expense of America's citizens. It is not racist to realize that those who are most affected by illegal immigration are those who were the poorest to begin with.
I'll be joining Ted Hayes, Marvin Stuart, and David Hernandez this Saturday for an American Civil Rights March down MLK Blvd. to Leimert Park in Lost Angeles. If anyone else cares to join us, PM me for more details.
I'm going to send this website to everyone I know...it's pretty powerful stuff!!
Thanks for putting it out there!
