This is a good step. Although still some gltiches, it's a great alternative than the other; doing nothing.

Priority is given to criminals charged or convicted of Level 1, or violent, crimes, including rape, murder and kidnapping.

Since the program's inception in October 2008, ICE has removed 4,000 criminals guilty of Level 1 offenses from the country. Additionally, the department has removed more than 24,700 illegal immigrants charged or convicted of less-serious crimes, including burglary and property violations

ICE officials hope to install the program nationwide by 2013.

I've read more and more States are signing up, let's hope it does sweep the Nation.

It’s pretty bad when even the most rural areas of a state are forced to enact policies to tackle illegal immigration. It illustrates the pervasiveness of this invasion. Gone are the days when illegals only occupied border states and a few major cities. This insidious incursion is now nationwide, including Alaska and Hawaii.

The numbers of level 1 crimes nationwide must be staggering.

But instead Mr berry Obama is expressing his concern about crimes that US citizens might one day commit against illegals.
