I think it would be fine if we gave Mexico anchor babies if they would give us the same thing.
BUT we all know their history on that front. They want it all their way. It wouldn't be such a bad thing to have a child in Mexico and then buy some nice ocean front property to develop in your childs name.

Birthight citizenship by country
According to the above link; as of 1993, Mexico did offer 'birthright citizenship' to anyone born in their country.
Ireland used to till 2004 then rescinded it. |
