SOFIA, Bulgaria - President Bush, turning from adulation in the Balkans to difficulties back home, said Monday that his stalled immigration overhaul would be revived and his embattled attorney general would not fall under a Senate vote of no-confidence.

“I believe we can get it done,” Bush said of the immigration bill that has run into deep trouble on Capitol Hill. “I’ll see you at the bill signing.”

Warmly welcomed in both Bulgaria and Albania, the president spoke at a news conference with Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov on the last stop of his eight-day trip in Europe. Bush said he would make a trip to Capitol Hill on Tuesday to lobby lawmakers in person on immigration.

Bush’s legacy will be “The One Man Wrecking Ball of the Republican Party and the Death of the Middle Class”.

At Bush's next public appearance we should pelt him wih tacos.

I"ve got to admit that I'm Republican and I voted for the Prez both times. Of course, I'm not dumb enough to vote straight ticket, but I find I generally vote Conservative.

That being said, I just can't tell you how disappointed I've been in the things the Prez has done, especially this second term. I just don't understand what he's doing to our country.

It’s too expensive to use taco’s now since so much of the corn crop has been redirected to supply the 200 or so ethanol gas stations.
Maybe we could throw the illegals dirty diapers at him. There’s no shortages there.

I don't understand either. I too voted for him; more because I believed he was the lessor of the evils. I still believe that, but I am sure upset with the stunts he is pulling. I wish I had any faith that things would turn out right in the end.

Here's the next stunt: "My fellow Americans, I regret to inform you that unless you accept my amnesty bill, all tacos will disappear from this country by the end of the week. So pass the bill and accept it as your very own, or else!"

I'm with you but I wasn't really voting for Bush. I was voting against the others choices.

The last two elections present a strong arguments for "NONE OF THE ABOVE" on the ballot. If it gets the majority of votes, start over with new candidates until we get it right.

I'm ashamed to say that I not only voted for him as president, but I worked for his Texas gubenatorial candidacy two times running. I've met him and I used to like and admire him.

My opinion of him now though would likely be censored. I think he's arrogant, incompetent, out of touch with the American people and a globalist to boot. I question whether or not he destroyed so many brain cells during his drinking days that he is unable to fathom the consequences of his actions, either that, or he just doesn't care.

Because of Bush and his lap dogs in the Republican party, this country is being primed for a Democrat in the White House and those pickin's aren't looking to good either.
