The Rev. Al Sharpton says he's ready to travel to Arizona and march in the streets to protest the state's new immigration law.

Sharpton joined Lillian Rodriguez Lopez from the Hispanic Federation in New York City on Sunday to speak out against the law. They say activists are prepared to commit civil disobedience to fight it.

Sharpton wants to be the new MLK but now that black citizens have been given their rightful civil rights all he has left are the illegal aliens to exploit for his desire for notariety.

AZ should have done something besides creating a police state that is either going to treat everyone as an illegal, or profile for Mexicans. That was stupid.

Civil disobedience is not breaking laws. Protesting in the streets is not a crime. Holding Rallies and Marches are not crimes. Freedom of Speech, Gathering in groups, and Petitioning the Government for Redress of Grievances are not crimes.

Sharpton has been laying low ,under the media radar, lately...as with everything else ,cyclical, I suppose it was due time and the right circumstances for the "Sharpton Circus" to roll into town. For the record i'm against the "Arizona bill" as I see it to be nothing more than, political posturing, on the side of the ,"GOP", as we head into November elections and the 2012 Pres. election ;they always like to play the role of the ,"tough on crime","TRUE PATRIOTS",blah, blah group. In the end though; I foresee the bill being struck down(after it makes it's way thru the courts) and a true, honest, all states inclusive ,immigration reform bill passed. We shall see though...The World waits with trepidation...

Illegal alien losers and their facilitators and apologists are afraid that the illegal alien losers aren't going to be able to run wild anymore in Arizona? No more sanctuaries? Civil disobedience, protesting in the street, holding rallies and marches, gathering in groups (outside Home Depot) are not crimes for citizens but could lead to being asked for proof of citizenship, and if not a citizen, then a trip to jail, then deportation.

From what I read, civil disobedience is the refusal to follow laws or commands of the government without using force.
This law basically makes it illegal to be illegal.
How can an illegal refuse to "be illegal"? If they refuse to give their correct name with ID when asked, they will still be detained.
Sure, they can ban together and boycott AZ, but more people won't than will.
They can picket and protest, but if they do so in AZ they can (and should) be asked for proof of legal residence. This would be more than enough to be considered "reasonable suspicion".

.....I agree with most of your comments but fail to understand the "grievance " part..................The illegals are breaking federal law.

So Al Sharpton is within his rights since he is not commiting any crimes...

So If he doesnt look for work at the Home Depot, then what the problem?
