Several thousand people took to the streets of Ecuador's southern major city of Cuenca on Friday to protest an immigration law of the U.S. state of Arizona.
Some 4,000 people, including some officers, marched in downtown Cuenca, demanding respect for Ecuadorians living in the United States.
The immigration law is "against the human rights and the U.S. Constitution," said Juan Peralta, a regional delegate of the governmental National Secretariat for Immigration (Senami).
"Not to recognize the contribution of the emigrants to the development of the country would be like attempting to hide the sun with just one finger," Peralta added.

1) Another attempt to blur the distinction between legal immigrants and illegal aliens ?

2) When was the last time ecuador protested against mexico's treatment of "immigrants" ?

Just curious,

Now thats rich. Ecuador feels they have some right to dictate American state laws. Seems like everyone thinks everyone except American citizens have a dog in this race.

We need to round up all their illegal citizens here and ship them back so they can join the protest.

Oh my God! Thousands are protesting in Ecuadore. Their numbers in Cuenca on the list of unwanted uninvited illegal alien border jumpers waiting to break into the US were starting to come up and now Arizona had the gall to pass a law allowing LE to ask illegal aliens for proof that they were in the US legally? Apparently the radical left marxist democrats in the US have communist stooges in most South American countries ready to riot when given instructions to? Americans can recognize the contributions of illegal aliens to this country with just one middle index finger.

Seems to be twofold
1) Showing that nobody in ecuador has read the law. (Future candidates for AG Holders job ?)
2) there is no difference between an emigrant and an illegal alien. ( same old blurred distiction.)
