I have a feeling we're going to see a lot of boycotts of Arizona....similar to what happened when the state refused to honor MLK Day..

Quote:
Supervisor David Campos this morning confirmed that he will tomorrow introduce emergency legislation calling for a San Francisco boycott of Arizona in response to that state's controversial new immigration law.

"I feel the city and county of San Francisco has to take a stand against what's happened in Arizona," said Campos. "The law they've enacted is really an affront to the basic principles of the constitution."

The white, uppity flutterbuns of San Francisco no longer have the reprieve of ridding itself of poor, illegal minorities if AZ closes off a major sanctuary. They'll have a reason to come to San Francisco if they can't stay in AZ. That's what the real issue is. It's called Protecting the Fort. This show of self-righteousness is nauseating.

I wonder what California would say if Arizona stopped letting water go from Arizona to California?

I figure there would be rioting in the streets inside of a week in California.

Uppity flutterbuns!!! I love it.

And protecting the fort - wait till illegals start leaving to Arizona and heading to neighboring states - I bet we start seeing similar legislation elsewhere.

This bill is going to cost Arizona financially. For instance, the NFL will never hold another SB there while it remains in place..

it might also cost California business as well, as alot of the water that goes to California comes from Arizona. 1 boycott is just as good as another.

Sadly, San Francisco (you know, the place that's trying to boycott AZ) gets none of its water from AZ. So they probably wouldn't riot.

So, this means what? San Francisco will rename Arizona Blvd to Immigration Way?

San Francisco is a sanctuary city, endorsing the violation of State Department regulations that anyone entering the U.S. must satisfy, including U.S. citizens on return from other countries. The same "sort" of regulations U.S. citizens must satisfy when entering other countries.

Let all immigrants satisfy the regulations, regardless of origin, race, income or intent. Maybe State just needs to put down the booze for a couple of daylight hours to map a path for legal immigration. Well, I guess special regulations for Mexican citizens since that's really the where the problem originates.

What they make on the SuperBowl is a drop in the bucket compared to the money lost on problems caused by illegal immigration.
