Well, darn, if only Ricky Martin wasn't so hot and good looking, his participation in the AZ boycott wouldn't matter so much.

I am amazed at all the critics of this law coming from outside the state. These r people who's neighborhoods have NOT been turned into havens for human trafficing and other crimes related to illegal immigration. I bet they can go to their local convenience store and not see a parking lot full of day laborers handing out on every other corner. Nor or their schools overburden and underperforming due to the added challenges of educating non-English speaking children. Furthermore the limited resources for special educations services are often utilized for ESL English as a second language issues. These outsiders have not offered one dime to compensate the state of Arizona for the medical expenses of illegal immigrant women to receive prenatal care and give birth and receive assistance in the form of nutrition, foodstamps and welfare money; nor for the medical and education expenses the state will incur as these babies grow up here. I could go on but... Why r all these big name critics not coming to to aid of Arizona citizens? If they did it certainly would go a long ways toward helping everyone. It is not right for American citizens to shoulder the burden of a better life for illegal immigrants without receiving any benefit of a better life for themselves and their children. How many illegal immigrants r paying their fair share for depleting the State's resources? Why is there no outcry from the critics about that injustice? The citizens in Arizona want some of the same things the illegal immigrants want- a better life. I am wondering when is somebody going to look at the real issues and count up those costs? Our future is being weighed in the balance and our children r paying a price they shouldn't have to.

That's part of the reason it's so laughable they are even attempting to 'protest' this. People know this, and see through their transparent motives. Those celebs must take everybody as fools, when in fact it is they themselves being foolish.

As other States follow suit, their little boycotts will stop. Nothing will make them stop making money or getting publicity. They'll flit around putting their face in the news then jump to something else. I, for one, as an outsider of AZ, do plan on taking a vacation there soon to spread some wealth
