Now it's baseball...

Quote:
As a backlash by Hispanic groups, organized labor and civil liberties activists gained steam, the leader of the California Senate and officials in two of the state's biggest cities also moved to cut ties with companies based in neighboring Arizona.

Opponents of the state immigration law, the toughest on the books in the United States, urged travelers to avoid the tourism-dependent Grand Canyon state and for business groups and other organizations to hold their conventions elsewhere.

This just in: LA Dodgers and San Francisco Giants forfeit all games against Arizona. Diamondbacks win the division by 25 games.

I understand they disagree with the law, but to boycott the state is just plain dumb. Do they realize they are attempting to hurt ALL Arizona residents, including ones who may not have even supported this law? Would turning Arizona into California version 2.0 make them happy?

There's also likely to be a backlash against those who boycott Arizona, whether pop stars, actors, cities, etc.

What's even more surprising is REP Grijavla suggesting people boycott HIS OWN STATE. What country is this man representing?

I CANNOT STAND that man. He has done absolutely nothing for Arizona. He describes current immigration laws as "cruel" and "unjust". He supports amnesty for illegal aliens already in the US and supports continued legal immigration (and most likely illegal) . He doesn't support a National Guard presence on the border, so basically gives a screw u to the safety and well-being of ALL Arizonans.

From the many more people who do not support illegal immigration and who find these boycotts ridiculous. Do you really believe places like San Francisco aren't also getting heat for calling on businesses to boycott Arizona? and Bloomberg? Needless to say, he should worry about his own city's reputation and residents taking care of themselves before he starts casting stones at AZ - A homeless man dies and nearly 25 people in Queens keep walking by - NYPOST.com
