Oh, those with an amnesty agenda comprehend all right, it's just that their paid amnesty agenda consists of continuously spouting amnesty progaganda and more amnesty propaganda, like a one track record, in the face of and irregardless of whatever anyone else has to say.

I dont recall the new law bringing up latinos. It did bring up illegal aliens and if most illegal aliens there are latino it doesnt matter. The breaking of our LAWS does matter.

To be blunt: HB 1070 will likely pass muster in the eyes of the courts. Needless to say: if you are here in Arizona illegally; you would be wise in preparing to leave...........

The truth is way too many 'Hispanics' do place an ethnocentric tribal agenda over the laws and customs of the USA where illegal aliens from Mexico, etc. are concerned. Pretty damn sad, is it not?

mexican constitution:
Article 32

"Mexicans shall have priority over foreigners under equality of circumstances for all classes of concessions and for all employment, positions, or commissions of the Government in which the status of citizenship is not indispensable." Foreigners, immigrants, and even naturalized citizens of Mexico may not serve as military officers, Mexican-flagged ship and airline crew, or chiefs of seaports and airports.

Article 33
"The Federal Executive shall have the exclusive power to compel any foreigner whose remaining he may deem inexpedient to abandon the national territory immediately and without the necessity of previous legal action." It also states: "Foreigners may not in any way participate in the political affairs of the country.

this is our country and we can do what we want.
I commend you on diverting attention away from what I originally posted and raising a complete and useless subject that has no real bearing on what I originally said.

Has it occurred to you that Mexico also has an illegal immigration problem even with all their strict immigration policies? Their average illegal immigrant population equates to an estimated 10% of their own population which is not far off from what the United States endures.
Center for Immigration Studies

If you love Mexico's immigration policies so much maybe you should rent some property down there or better yet, inform your elected official on just how much you envy Mexican law.

Racial profiling is not okay, but neither is illegal immigration. Why r those opposed to the law not equally disturbed by that crime? Both r against the law. However, at the crux of this issue is national origin; therefore, u cannot ignore that physical observation is a part of enforcement, but not the only part of it. There r procedural safe guards to deter racial profiling. The law is imperfect in general, but we all have that inconvenience to deal with and work through. For example, the seat belt law or a policeman will have speed (break the traffic law) to catch someone speeding. The public would rather that happen than a speeding vehicle do grave bodily harm to someone. The law is duel in purpose. First it is for the protection of the lawful and to deter the crime. I understand this is a fine line sometimes, but it applies across the board. The immigration law is not "special".

You sound like a typical Nativist who feels that democracy applies only to the ruling majority and nobody else.

Pretty damn sad, is it not?

And what is wrong with being a Nativist?

Anymore: we need to clamp down hard on immigration in general (with exceptions for political refugees, certain skilled people, etc.) for maybe 10-20 years till we we clean up our messes here in the USA.

And you seem to think that you and all of your unwanted and uninvited illegal alien border jumpers are somehow a part of our democracy. Even sadder.
