it is ok for police to profile anyone. this and posts like it have a common element an attempt to trump immigration and employment law with civil rights law. not guna happen. the assertion that violation of immigration and employment law is not a crime is a false one.
Let me hear you make that claim on the day this law gets shot down by the Courts...
The police already profile latinos, and all other groups, races, ethnicities, etc. It's part of their job description. The latinos shouldn't feel singled out - LE already uses profiling to perform their duties. If someone has their purse stolen by a white woman dressed as a nun wearing roller skates, then they are probably going to stop you if you are a white woman in the vicinity dressed like a nun wearing roller skates. If the same crime were to be done by a latino wearing a white tank top and a shaved head, then if you look like that and are in the vicinity, expect to be questioned. At the same time, an elderly latina sitting at a bus stop doesn't have to be concerned that she is going to be "profiled" just because she's a latina. See how that works?

It’s simple enough that only a complete moron would not comprehend. Or, those with an amnesty agenda.
As I've stated, I believe it isn't so much the "profiling" it's the outrage that they might be considered something so lowly. They are also looked down upon in their home Countries.
People who automatically assume that the law targets Latinos are guilty of PROFILING.
They are admitting that the illegal population is OVERWHELMINGLY Latino based and they are admitting that it will be people of Latino descent who will be profiled.
If it is a fact that the majority of people here illegally come from a Latino background then it's not profiling is it?
I see that democracy is a bad thing when it doesn't agree with you.
Hypocrite!
you want to talk about hypocrisy? mexico is demanding that we do something that it is unwilling to do!
mexican constitution:
Article 32
"Mexicans shall have priority over foreigners under equality of circumstances for all classes of concessions and for all employment, positions, or commissions of the Government in which the status of citizenship is not indispensable." Foreigners, immigrants, and even naturalized citizens of Mexico may not serve as military officers, Mexican-flagged ship and airline crew, or chiefs of seaports and airports.
Article 33
"The Federal Executive shall have the exclusive power to compel any foreigner whose remaining he may deem inexpedient to abandon the national territory immediately and without the necessity of previous legal action." It also states: "Foreigners may not in any way participate in the political affairs of the country.
this is our country and we can do what we want.
