The above is an information referral from the irs website. if the ins doesn't care, maybe the irs does. all the illegals are paid off the books, therefore scamming the irs.
Since Dubya is determined to fight this war in the Middle East, how about a US Foreign Legion? Illegals can sign up for a 5-year hitch, learn English, get some skills, and spend time in Iraq and Afghanistan looking for insurgents. At the end of their hitch, they would get a green card.
Question for the lawyers and well informed amoung us..
What are the legalities of starting a company with the sole purpouse of investigating, documenting, and reporting illegals in the country. Like address, places of work etc.
Could lets say a Bounty Hunter type business do this sorta thing? Can a Bounty Hunter catch and turn in illegals, or would charges have to been filed first? What about detain, and wait for border patrol arrive?
Im going though the steps here, to get an idea of what could and could not be done.
The best solution I can think of right off is for the Goverment to crack down with severe penalties and jail time for employers who hire the illegals. I doubt this will ever happen, just to levy a fine against a company will never get the job done.
Solution #2. The people will have to grow a back bone and take the country back, which most likely will never happen either.... too many weak people in this country any more. Or maybe we all should just be PC and learn to like refried beans 3x's a day.

From what I understand, Bounty Hunters search for people who have warrants out, usually after they've skipped bail. If you go around detaining people simply because you think they're illegal aliens, you're risking criminal charges for false arrest and false imprisonment, and numerous civil suits.
And do something! And my favorite... We must stop the business owners from hiring these illegals
I would like to see this happen, because Illegal Immigrants should not be breaking the law. But, don't count on it. There are not enough American born workers who want to perform physically demanding low paying jobs.
1. Seal the boarders. That's it. no more crossing.
2. Create a green card and a national ID card that is extremely hard to forge.
3. Require that the green card or national ID card be presented when you apply for any governmental services.
4. Change the US laws to prohibit babies born in the US by non-citizens are not automatically made a citizen.
Perect? No, but here are the results:
Once deported, illegals are not coming back over.
Illegals who stay cannot get government services.
Illegals who try to have children here can't play the "my kids an American" ploy.
With the updated green card and national ID, employers can verify citizenship. This makes going after the employers much easier. Can't do that now.
As with most things. Follow the money. Cut off the supply of money, and the problem goes away like someone on a diet, inch by inch, pound by pound.
Will it happen? Fat chance as long as we have the politicians we have now (both sides of the isle).
So, ultimately, to solve the problem.... we have to vote.
Double fence or complete militarization or both if we have to. Check out what just happened:
According to the Border Patrol, an unknown number of gunmen attacked the site in the state’s West Desert Region around 11 p.m. [Wednesday] The site is manned by National Guardsmen. Those guardsmen were forced to retreat.
The Border Patrol says the incident occurred somewhere along the 120 mile section of the border between Nogales and Lukeville. The area is known as a drug corridor. Last year, 124-thousand pounds of illegal drugs were confiscated in this area.
The Border patrol says the attackers quickly retreated back into Mexico.
