If it's so horrific and invasive to ask a person for ID, how do the Border Patrol and ICE verify if someone is a citizen? Maybe they could show Arizona how to do it and not be so Draconian.

LOL. You're right. Border Patrol and ICE zip ties their hands WHILE they check their ID, maybe Arizona should do that too.

the poor dears are probably damaged beyond repair when ICE asks such a constitutionally-unjust question.

That is the issue at hand ... they are not doing thier jobs! In most states, if you cannot prove who you are for lack of ID you can be detained until they figure it out. Then they check for warrants. I don't see any issue with checking for immigration status. I don't see any issue carrying your green card. If we are not going to stop them from getting here in the first place then they must be found out later. I see know issue for a state to create a law that states if you break this federal law we will turn you over to the federal authorities.

Of course they need to show it stamped with the applicable visa. It is federal law that any person here on a work visa needs to have thier green card on with them at all times.

That's the issue..illegals have NO legal ID so it's a crime to ask for it.
Anyone legally here has no problem though.

Odd world we live in eh ?

It is crucial to keep America sovereign in todays crime world and the decade of the illegal alien, to require all citizens of driving age, have an ID on them at all times.

Ignorance of who is standing next to you, could get you killed.
