There are places to start in repairing the damage these lefty nut job policies (and some of the same from the do gooder right) have inflicted upon this once fine country. People are sick of this left leaning , envrio crazy, welfare state, crap and are going to fight back. The best place to start is with throwing out the millions of illegal aliens sucking the life out of our welfare system. That system is supposed to be TEMPORARY RELIEF for REAL CITIZENS who have fallen on hard times not a dole for fence jumpers.
Reinstate the sponsor requirement that Teddy Kennedy had removed from the immigration process. If someone else has to take FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY for these people coming here, learning the language, and getting a good job, then we'll see how willing they are to stick their necks out for their fellow man. If it's going to cost someone some money if their friend does not adhere to the citizenship laws let's see how eager they are to invite the whole extended family here. Many will do it and many will become citizens....good citizens we all can be proud to call Americans...not the illegal criminals we're over run with now.
Go Texas, Go Arizona...it's about time!!

It's spurring government action alright..but the wrong way.

The Fed is backing off and taking immigration reform off the table while the states talk about enacting bills.

Obama's administration needs to address this; this is a FEDERAL issue. I do not blame the states at all for taking their own action because the Fed wants to do nothing nor acknowledge the problem nor provide the border control it is supposed to be doing.

If anything..be mad at the current administration for running away from this yet being the first to point a finger.

Until/Unless a wide measure of support is demonstrated in the Texas Senate, you should be saying "Good for DEBBIE RIDDLE!"

If this trend keeps up, the illegal immigrant huggers will have to vacation in Iceland due to their self-imposed boycotts.

With Governor Goodhair and all of the Democrats against it, plus likely several other republicans, I don't see it passing.

I don't think any of the serious politicians in Texas are in favor of it. As I said earlier, Debbie Riddle is considered a joke in Texas politics.
