WASHINGTON An emerging immigration proposal by three Democratic senators calls for more federal enforcement agents and other border security-tightening benchmarks before illegal immigrants could become legal U.S. residents.

Is hell freezing over?

Unless the Dems now see the dangers of both a crash and burn in November as well as growing turmoil here in the USA courtesy of illegal aliens.

Holy ****e. The Dems want border security. Does Janet know this? Does Pelosi know this? They fight every attempt at border security.

Americans are not going to forget, a little too late but good to see them do something Americans want for a change. Other States are following AZ and this administration cannot have that! Oh my! Power in their only goal.

I think they are taking notice of all the polls. We are sick of the Illegals and they need to take notice or get removed from office.

I smell the scent of desperation in the air on the Democrats part. November elections are just around the corner. I wouldn't vote for a politician without an already proven track record of securing our borders, enforcement and no amnesty no matter what party they are from.

Just around the corner? The elections are over six months from now. You must not realize how long that is in terms of politics, where things can change dramatically within a matter of days.

In case you didn't know it the candidates start campaigning months before the actual election. Being you live in Palm Springs, Ca you should already have seen the campaign ads on tv for those running for governor. This is an election year so yes, it is just around the corner.

The only thing that is going to change dramatically are those candidates desperately trying to save their seat by flip flopping on their views to save theirselves or the new ones running trying to determine which way the wind is blowing so they can make promises based on that. As I said, I will not vote for anyone who doesn't already have a proven track record of supporting my views.
