Congratulations to Arizona for its good fortune. You found a way to get illegal aliens and lawyers to leave, and San Francisco bureaucrats are officially banned from your state, well played, well played indeed.

What if they have fraudulent documentation?

They can collect welfare and leech off every other social safety net program as well.

We all know the illegal documentation business is thriving to supply illegals with all the documentation they need to filch from the US taxpayer.

They can if their kids are born here which is why people want to close that Anchor Baby loophole.

Lay offs? You mean open jobs? How is that adverse? Job openings that are vacated by Illegals is a bad thing?

This is a lawyers dream.

As for the cost the Hotel owners are reeling from cancellations
I would love for you to provide proof of the "reeling."

My sister and brother-in-law work in the tourism industry and my brother-in-law works for a company that is in charge of transportation (he schedules buses/vans/etc to get conventioners from the airport to their hotel and to sites around Metro Phoenix). I just spoke with him this morning and he said they have had NO (Zero, Zip, Nada) cancellations.

There are already plenty there. Montgomery County, Maryland which sisters the District, is a sanctuary city, unofficially of course. The residents of Maryland have had their "fill" and are taking steps to remove these contributors out of office taking back jobs/monies for Americans. D.C can have them since our Government wants them here.

Correct. And while they don't receive "welfare" in the common sense of the word, they do send their kids to school, they do drain the social services non-profit organizations and they do get medical care and don't pay for it.

The real problem here is not the illegal immigrants who have been in Arizona for a long time. The breaking point for Arizona was the murder of the rancher who had repeatedly cried for help and the amount of crime that is taking place in Arizona. The crime rate there is skyrocketing. It's not skyrocketing because of hardworking Mexicans working hard to improve the lives of their family. It's skyrocketing because the drug cartels know that if the average illegal immigrant has no problem crossing the border, then they can use the "freeway" to bring their drugs in. Word has also gotten out for the "Coyotes" that if they can charge to take groups across the border, they can also hold those people for ransom until their families pay up. The I-10, the main thoroughfare East/West, was shut down when 2 groups of Coyote gangs decided to open fire on each other so they could take the latest van full of illegals and ransom them to their families. This has moved WAY beyond the illegal immigrant working hard for his family.

It's not the illegal immigrant who works hard that has sparked this debate. It's the incredible crime rates that have taken over Arizona. Since the drug cartel members and the Coyotes don't wear identification, everyone has to be checked. It's not fair to many who will be otherwise minding their business, but if you're legal, it will take no more than a few minutes to prove you're a citizen and you can go along on your way.
