The vast majority of Americans who oppose illegal immigration don't give a damn what the twit Shakira has to say about anything. So the radical left socialist amnesty democrats with their agendas, knowing that, must be trying to use Shakira to further stir up hysteria in the tribally ethnocentric hispanic community to get hispanics to keep acting like the sheep that they are. Legal hispanics are getting more and more identified as fervent surporters of illegal immigration and creating seething resentments in non hispanic Americans towards hispanics.

Shakira did not grow up with servants. She grew up in a low income community. When she began singing and selling her music, she bought the apartment in which she lived in.
Give me a break!! Her father was a wealthy jeweler of Lebanese descent from New York City.

She is not from a poor humble Colombia family, in fact she's only half Colombian, but she grew up privileged, benefitting from all the perks of the upper class in an two-class society.

Now have the pop celebrities of all other nations weighed in on this yet?

YouTube - Shakira - She Wolf

Where did I ever mention her smarts or her attractiveness? My beef was with the fact that she hired a person to advise her on what her politics are. Clearly, you didn't get the message. So is Mad TV racially profiling the serious, studious, 'rich and famous' Shakira in this clip too? Face it - not too many people take Shakira seriously.

YouTube - MAD TV Shakira - Mo Collins

BTW - is that all you've got? Scold the posters you disagree with instead of explaining why Shakira's (or for that matter, any celebrity's whether Latino or not) opinion matters to the state of AZ's lawmakers and citizens? You appear to be one of the more pugnacious posters in the immigration forum. You must be such fun at parties.
The Mo Collins parody is good because you could almost think it is Shakira in that video. Too many clothes for it to really be Shakira.

Why is Shakira taking classes at UCLA when she admitted she didn't even have a passport or anything to get into this country as someone stated she brought up on CNN?

Shakira meets with Phoenix City Police-Vows to fight AZ immigration law
Laughable, really. These attention-loving, publicity-seeking, bandwagon-hopping celebs like Shakira and Linda Ronstadt need to quit embarassing themselves by getting into things that everyone knows are just superficial "oh-look-at-me" times!
