It's not the right answer. It's 100% the wrong answer. From a social and economic standpoint it means disaster.

There will be at least one "open borders" commenter on this thread I'm sure of it.

Reasons I say NO amnesty....

Uneducated people
Low wage workers
Not contributing to the tax base of the U.S.(and no....paying sales tax or S.S. tax does not mean you are contributing when in the end..you get back more then you put in!)

All amnesty will do is bring America closer to 3rd world status..........

Amnesty combined with the open border means changing the country into
something completely different some kinda amorphous entity between
Canada and Mexico. But that is the plan if you think about it. I want to be wrong on that though.

For anyone who is in favor of amnesty - I challenge them to spend just one week living within the confines of an illegal alien-dominated community here in Southern California. Just one week.

If California isn't their style then send them on to Loredo or El Paso or Brownsville

The president takes the immigration bill (amnesty) off the table
because there's little chance it passes now. At the same time
he doesn't want to secure the border. Why? Because he wants amnesty
with open border. Perpetual Amnesty is the ultimate goal.

Yep..by doing nothing he has left the borders open.

There is no "right" answer but here are a couple of reasons.

Reason #1....amnesty would head off any and all investigation into why the Feds could not or would not enforce our laws for many years. Corruption on a staggeringly grand scale could be sufficiently buried.

Reason #2...a high percentage of 20 million would be instant democrat voters in time for November. There are many very nervous dems in DC right now and it's my guess that they are desperate enough to try to ram through amnesty at any cost.
