"My agenda is to push for our laws to be enforced, give all countries' citizens to come to the US legally if there is a need, if there is not they don't get to decide to come here illegally. To stop depressing wages, to stop politcians who sell out to businesses that exploit illegal labor, and to push for illegals to return to their country of origin and demand change there as they demand rights and work here."

Funny, your agenda is my agenda, for the most part.
I believe that the borders should be closed immediately by the federal government by whatever means necessary. We must stem the tide and stop the flow and do it now.
I believe that the existing laws on the books should be enforced.
I believe that legal immigration should be allowed based on the needs of America. Not the needs of other countries or individuals.
I believe that businesses should be held accountable legally and criminally for using illegal labor and lowering the common denominator of our work force.
The one area we disagree on is returning all illegals to wherever they came from. Some say 12 million people others say 20 million. In either case returning them all is unfeasable, financially, morally and logisticly. The whole illegal problem is all our faults. Not just the illegals here for a better life and future. It is the Government's fault, the politicians fault, the illegals fault and each of us as citizens for not demanding more from our leaders in addressing the problem for the past 25 years.

So, Simpleman, we really are on the same page in almost all respects. Lets hope that cooler heads will prevail on both sides of the issue when all this mess gets sorted out.
