People will come in and call all of that info racist and biased. However, let's face facts. Let's say we have 2 illegal alien parents who are steadily employed picking fruit and they pay taxes. Let's say they have four kids. Does their employer provide health insurance for their workers? Can they support those four kids with healthcare on their salaries? How many times over is this scenario and worse played out accross the country every single day?

This is the issue which screams needing attention. How in the world with our present spiraling economy does anyone not recognize the ramifications of paying for illegal aliens and their families has on this country? Why is this not an issue for those who support illegal immigration? I have yet to hear of one good reason for this practice and hope some discussion on a mature level will ensue.

Did you even click on the link? It completely debunks many of the false claims being made by the so called "anti-illegal" crowd.

CBO concluded that most of the estimates determined that illegal immigrants impose a net cost to state and local governments but "that impact is most likely modest." CBO said "no agreement exists as to the size of, or even the best way of measuring, that cost on a national level."
Oh give me a break! It is well-documented that illegal immigration is costing the taxpayers of this country BILLIONS annually. How could it not, given that we are providing a K-12 education, including “free” breakfast/lunch programs, and ESL classes. That alone, is bankrupting school districts. Let’s not forget the myriad other services and benefits illegals receive, and the thousands of incarcerated illegals. It isn’t rocket science.

Well documented where? If you think you have better bias free sources than fact check, then please provide it.

C’mon, blacknight. You have been here long enough to have read numerous articles from “credible” sources. Search the threads, or Google the costs associated with providing benefits and services to illegals.

In any case, the average annual cost for just a public school education is $14,000 per student (excluding breakfast/lunch/ESL). Do you actually believe an illegal pays anything remotely close to that in taxes?

Okay, I clicked on the link and, as much as I like to support people being able to come here and work to better themselves and their families, the fact still remains that illegal immigration is costing billions of dollars.

The link says that it is less than $10.4 billion and the chain letter they are debunking claims the cost to be over $300 billion. Even if it is less than 10.4, we're still talking billions and the problems of identity theft, tax evasion and crime still persist.

I have to say that I hate admitting the above but it's the sad fact. Another sad fact is that, in general, we no longer have illegal immigrants coming here who do their best to keep a low profile while working to become legal immigrants. This, of course, is also happening because too many hispanic lawyers took advantage of their own people and prolonged the process as long as possible in order to keep taking their money.

I'm only afraid that admitting these facts will only empower those racists who use this problem as an excuse for their intolerance. After all, there are plenty of people who equate being hispanic with being an illegal immigrant when we all know that's not the case.

If Illegals were such an "overall" benefit to our Society why are we being forced, State by State, to keep them out? Why aren't States fighting over who gets the most?

It's like the commercial, so easy a caveman could do it (figure it out).
