Should the 14th Amendment be eliminated, like Prohibition was, or should it stand as it is
Why would it be eliminated? it can be "amended" if it is done by the terms outlined in the Constitution. The Constutition is a living document [not set in stone]. The 14th will be amended if the people want it to be.

nope, not what the people want, just hat the feds want, unless the states take it over..........
Stop the anchor baby loophole, it is the strongest driving force for many to come to this country, instant citizenship for their offspring-birth tourism. Stop it now and make it retroactive Parents must prove they are American citizens before a BC is issued to their newborn.

Even the 18th amendment still stands in the books.
The amendment basically made it null and void.
The vast majority of industrialized nations in the world no longer allow birthright citizenship. Why we continue to allow it is beyond me.

Most countries ban birthright citizenship because of security threats and because of unbearable costs which take invaluable resources and burden federal, state and local budgets and taxpayers.U.S. Representative Nathan Deal of Georgia, who introduced H.R. 1868 to ban automatic birthright citizenship, stated that the United States is the largest of only 33 countries in the world that grant automatic birthright citizenship to children of illegal aliens and temporary visitors, while 122 countries do not.
To reiterate, 122 COUNTRIES DO NOT GRANT AUTOMATIC BIRTHRIGHT CITIZENSHIP compared to 33 that do.
33 industrialized countries. Why dont you help change those countries first before attempting to Change the US 's issue with citizenship?
yeah 122 countries that do not; but those countries include Iran - who treats women as 2nd class citizens and property;
Why would American citizens want to change birth right laws in OTHER countries? We want it changed in OUR COUNTRY. What other countries do is NOT our concern.
