Boycotting themselves? We can't support this cuz, um, you know...it would show that we then AGREE it is important and um...then we would be on THEIR side...so we need to boycott, Yes! Boycott cuz I have plans for the weekend and all, I'm not going to clean up that mess...

I already have a full time job. It would take thousands of people, in a full time role, to clean up after them. I helped clean up some trails in Laguna and within a month the water jugs and food wrappers (in Spanish) were there like we never picked up a thing.

We need to fix the cause.

I too have helped clean up some trail's here on long island where I live. It is a daunting task judging by the pictures.
If the government was to protect the border with the same vigilance that they protect the fence at groom lake then we wouldn't have half the problems we have in this country.

Maybe they will get to it after they finish complaining about the oil spill that nobody can do anything about.
I hear a whole lot of gum's flapping about it and nobody ever wants to do anything that will help

I will put on the gloves and help you brother! but I believe 1AngryTaxPayer was correct when they suggested that the source of the problem should be dealt with first.

The Sierra Club is an environmentalist group.

For the love of money

Since 1996, leaders of the Sierra Club have refused to admit that immigration driven, rapid U.S. population growth causes massive environmental problems. And they have refused to acknowledge the need to reduce U.S. immigration levels in order to stabilize the U.S. population and protect our natural resources. Their refusal to do what common sense says is best for the environment was a mystery for nearly a decade.
Then, on Oct. 27, 2004, the Los Angeles Times revealed the answer: David Gelbaum, a super rich donor, had demanded this position from the Sierra Club in return for huge donations!
