When are they going to understand they are just pissing America off. How dare they protest the incarceration of criminals? Illegal aliens? Now they have truly lost their collective minds. They remind me of a bunch of brats having a temper tantrum. Wish they'd hold their breath.

The protest was outside the federal prison in downtown L.A. "This detention center symbolizes the incarceration and internment of so many immigrants and the separation of families," according to a statement on a website posted by the protesters.

I fear that any chance of a rational discussion has gone up in smoke. Hope we do not have a civil war over this because I know the UN would be on their side.

getout !!! ... Exactly !!!

This totally isane bunch of "Pea Brains" reminds me so damn much of the Old "Hanoi Jane" protester vermin that so unfortunately inhabited the earth during the Viet Nam War !

The good folks I was in the miltary service with truly hated their friggin guts ..... and this bunch appears to be not one bit different !

Total insanity has reigned supreme among these pitiful nut jobs !

Thanks / Old Lamar

There will be no civil war over this. If nothing else; quite a few Latinos will NOT support the pro illegal types if push came to shove.

As for the UN, they would be better off in helping Mexico with ITS problems i.e. the drug wars.

It wouldn't be a "civil war" because a civil war would be between two groups of citizens. Foreigners here illegally raising a ruckus isn't civil war.
As far as rational discussion, I think that is up in smoke because of the open-borders side has taken this to extremes, demanding that once someone steps foot illegally in this country, they be handed their USA citizenship and all the rewards.

Now if you actually talk to a typical illegal who is really here to work hard, you find that most of them actually don't hate their own country all that much and most actually express a desire to return home at some point.

Many illegals would be content with temporary guest worker status - but of course many are content with illegal status too.

On the other hand - maybe they should keep on annoying Americans all the way through November?

USA citizens overall are tired of hearing about the illegals all the time.We are tired of seeing millions of people here who cant even speak english . We are tired of all this talk talk talk, We are tired of the disrespect being shown to us by even having to see these illegals......If the illegals want what is right and what is fair according to our law, they need to turn themselves in to the police and face our courts of law....This is the american way, dont care if its not the mexican way..The mexican way is in mexico.

If there were to be a civil war it would be between the pro-laws citizens vs the pro-illegal alien advocate citizens. I don't think it will come to that because our government knows the fuse has already been ignited and will have to do something way before that happens.
